Luc Demers and Pete Precourt’s twenty-year friendship is grounded in their shared experience as artists, professors, and fathers. While their decades old collaboration began with lunar imagery on slate chalkboards, the April 2024 eclipse proved transformative. Humbled by the celestial event, their practice shifted from chalk dust to the elemental forces of light, shadow, fire, and smoke. Overshadowed explores this evolution and the nature of friendship itself—a study in creative exchange and the dialogue formed through a shared visual language.
